Bathroom Plumbing Issues

Our bathrooms are all about hygiene and when something isn’t working correctly, it’s not just frustrating, it can be a very big problem.

Toilets must function properly for sanitation reasons. When there are issues with leaks, problems with flushing, or function, they need to be addressed.

With showers and bathtubs, issues with water pressure or water temperature can make showers unpleasant. If you run the shower and water is running where it shouldn’t by spraying out of the spout, dribbling down the wall or creating a water stain in the ceiling below, it is time for a plumbing repair.

Bathroom sinks are important for hygiene. It’s where we brush our teeth, get ready for the day, and wash our hands after using the bathroom. When there are leaks or drain issues, it impedes our ability to take care of ourselves.

The common bathroom plumbing issues here are:

Toilets, Shower & Bathtub, and Sink

Toilet Plumbing Issues

Toilet Leaks

Leaks in or around the toilet are usually easily fixed. The harder part is determining where the water is coming from, which we can do.

  • Toilet leaking at the base
  • Leak behind the toilet
  • Wetness around the toilet but you don’t know where it’s coming from
  • Cracked or leaking tank
  • Damaged subfloor / flange repair

The floor under the toilet is susceptible to water damage as the toilet is held in place with a wax ring that can decay over time. The wax ring creates a seal between the toilet’s porcelain and the floor where the toilet flange is. The toilet flange is a pipe that allows the waste and water from the toilet to quickly flow to the drain line that takes that waste to the sewer. When it is damaged, it creates a hazardous situation as it allows that waste to drip or run into the floor, walls or ceiling below and needs to be remedied immediately.

Toilet Not Flushing Correctly

When a toilet doesn’t flush because of a clog or failed parts, it can create quite a problem, especially if it is the only toilet in your home. Even a guest bathroom that doesn’t work properly can be embarrassing and inconvenient. Let’s get it fixed for you.

  • Flushing on its own
  • Cycling / running
  • Broken handle
  • Problems inside of the toilet tank

  • Clogs often / easily
